Back in the library
Oh the despair, finding yourelf back in the University library, where two months previously you had vowed never to set foot in again. Drinking terrible coffee, listening to others peoples' music, which usually sounds like bad techno, desperately searching for that one job that's out there that you know was made for you. Job hunting sounds so simple - looking for a vacancy that you want, matching your skills to the job spec, applying for it, getting an interview, selling yourself awesomely and KAPOW - you have a job!!! I can't wait for that feeling - a letter, an email, a phonecall - "You have been successful!" I can imagine the euphoria, shouting it from the rooftops, life falling into place. But job hunting in reality is quite different, trying to stay upbeat when composing your 23rd cover letter, wondering if anyone will ever read it. Will i ever leave the University library...........
